how to link external mem card

I moved items from internal to external memory to organize their labels. After i sort it out, all junks were left on the internal and my important stuffs were in the external. I check my gallery to see if they were arranged properly but unfortunately, i lost it there and also the music player doesn't have any music.as i check the sd card all stuffs are there but it doesn't link to where it should be seen.. How can i fix this???? Please help me....

Restart the phone. The Media Scan will pick up all the media files in both internal and external storage and build a database of them, so that apps that use media files can find them. (It should rescan any time you make a change in a media app, but moving files with a file manager won't cause a rescan, so the database is still showing what used to be.)

BTW, if you still have a picture in both internal and external storage, Gallery will show it twice, in 2 different albums, because Media Scan will pick it up twice.
