Jaekar r u using the -100 imnuts non voodoo? is it stable how is it working for u? battery life so on so forth??

Kernel is very stable. No issues with any of the apps or the function of the phone. I am not certain that the undervolting is completely accurate.

My battery dropped 30% in 3 hours and it was idle, gps off, and just sitting on my desk. There are reports of this trickling in on all version (voodoo and nonvoodoo) of the imnuts kernels.. but it is not happening on all phones. This was way worse (for me) than any of the other EB16 or EB01 kernels. I have switched back to the ComaVolt by times_infinity. Got excellent battery time from it over 50 hours between charges.

You may be one of the lucky ones who does not have the serious power bleeding. It may be worth a try. I abandoned my trial about 30 minutes ago.

imnuts is going put up some new kernels over the next day or two and hopefully we will get one that has all the bells and whistles working correctly.

I think he still has some bugs to work out.

Jae is the times_infinity ComaVolt kernel compatible with the sc 2.9.2 non-voodoo? I got lost a little when they said it was a Touch Wiz kernel, vs AOSP...was unsure..

Yes. SC 2.9.2 is a Touch Whiz based ROM - AOSP ROMs are not.

ive been runnning the times_infinity one all day today minus my soft brick that Sharky got me out of(thanks sharky) and battery still is herendous, ill stick with it untill something betters come out. glad u are a non voodoo resource! let me know if u find a good undervolted non voodoo my friend!

Update: imnuts 3/30 -100 nv - trial #2 - lock up.. found that I was not installing the kernel properly when using the second CWM from jt1134. Loaded CWM for custom kernels - ran it again... phone became unstable and bootlocked.

This may be why some of us are not experiencing the full benefit of undervolting... the kernel is not installing.

Alright, I have a question, is there a way to use the text message colors from this theme(ultimate honeycomb) in another theme?, not a huge deal but I really like the black and blue colors that this theme has, I appreciate any insight anyone has, thanks.

Did you try the 50uv? The 100 locked up for me, the 50 is running fine for me. 24+ hrs

Gonna be easier to download a different SMS program ("Handcent" comes to mind) - to make changes to your text fonts and colors..

To make changes to the actual fonts and colors you will have to make changes to files in the font.. xml adjustments..

My suggestion is to look on the market for a SMS app.

Just curious I hear lots of love for sc but not much about other roms I run sc and enjoy it curious y not much about others and as far as kernels go I've never changed it not seeing to much description from one to another and how they differ so curious about that and finally on the list in my head is the difference from eb10 eb15 eb16 eb01and ec10 maybe I'm not looking in the right places our just not understanding thoroughly I have the eb01 right now and not sure what one to the next is iread alot bout what people have but not compareative diffrence

At this point all of the other roms are kind of piece meal and generally leave a bad taste in my mouth by replacing all sorts of useful apps with all sorts of other apps that just don't seem to keep up.

At this point the other viable roms that aren't just a glorified theme (sorry but I don't see much functional difference) are AOSP and MIUI, both of which are alpha from what I understand. Kaosinate is a gingerbread cyanogen mod port that's also still in alpha. For the most part they're all still missing essential functions like sms, bluetooth, wifi, 3g, etc.

There'll be more, but it's gonna take time for the source code to get worked over.

TDB's darkrevenge rom does look interesting tho. Gunnermike seems to be sold on it. But yeah sc is just too stable and offers just the right amount of "clean".

I loaded DR, and hated it. It was like themed super clean that didn't get assembled right. It was missing a calendar app for some odd reason. A calendar. It's not that it was bad, I just couldn't find a single thing to like about it. Battery life wasn't totally aweful, but it was about par?
