How to make hands free calls when phone is on lock screen.

I've been trying to figure out how to make calls with my bluetooth headset on my S6 with the lock screen on. I have looked at the directions for doing it on the S5, and those directions are useless for me, since I can't find the same settings.

Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

I haven't yet added my bluetooth since I got my S6, but I remember reading about adding a device to the trusted devices list so that it could bypass the lock screen. I don't have my bluetooth with me now or I would try it.

I have done that, and the screen doesn't lock when the bluetooth is connected, but I still have to swipe it in order to get it to work.
