How to make sd card your default storage

My phone has a sd card. But it is not being used as default storage. How do I set this up?

You can't.

You need Android 6.0 in order to 'adopt' an SD card as internal storage. As far as I am concerned, there is no Android 6.0 update for the S4.

Though I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you have one of SanDisk's latest high-end SD cards, since adopting a slow SD card can negatively impact performance.

Media files like music and video.

Along with photos and videos shot by the camera.

It doesn't sound like much, but that means you can offload media files to the SD card while leaving your internal storage for apps. It's actually pretty nifty.

I do the same on my LG G4.
