How to mount usb storage in recovery?

I tried to mount usb storage in recovery in case I ever need it recovery (CWM 5.5.0.2). When I select "Mount USB Storage", I get the following error: "E:Unable to open ums lunfile (no such file or directory)"

I am able to mount data, but nothing shows up in My Computer in Windows 7.

What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem. My solution was to just take out the SD card and put it in another reader. Still would be nice to know what's going on with that recovery though.

There's no SDcard in the Nexus. You can't mount it because its all one partition.

Use ADB push/pull to move files.
