How to move the icons?

How does one move the icons around on a Sansung Infuse hone screen?

If you have the "real estate", (space), just long press and slide to where you want it. However, you can't usually move it to another screen. At least I have not been able to do it, in this case, I just long press, delete, then on the next screen, long press, and select app or whatever.

Just a sidenote; but typically, you can get 2 rows of icons, plus a weather app, on 1 screen.
