You can post in this thread, and I or someone else will give you the best answers we can.
The 'n' button not working most definitely isn't normal. The setup wizard not running isn't a particularly encouraging sign either. I'd recommend starting fresh with the 0.5.9 image that's currently in the op.
The market fingerprint (that determines what apps you see) has been updated for that image too. If they still aren't showing after burning the new image to your SD, just clear the cache for the market (menu>settings>applications>all>market>clear cache from your homescreen), reboot, and check again.
No Joy! I've tried re-downloading everything and re installing. The Nookie-Froyo image looks like it goes on ok. I'm able to go in and set up my wireless.
But when I put the google apps on top, I'm stuck in setupwizard hell. It's been very frustrating for me.
See the post right above yours. A new image that won't have that problem is on its way . . . if you must use it right now, a working 0.5.8 is in the OP temporarily.
If you have used adb before and have other files in your tools folder before extracting this gapps file there, do you need to clean those out?
I downloaded the (0.5.9) earlier today and just finished writing it, do I need to start all over?
when i add apps to the froyo SD card, will the apps be saved to the card so next time i boot from the card it will be like i last shut down in Froyo?
What should my Device Manager look like in Windows after the Nook driver install? I'm using Windows 7 64-bit and I am receiving "errorevice not found" when attempting to run ADB while booted to Froyo from my micro USB. I have a mix of B&N eBook Disk USB drive items, WPD File System Device Driver items, and a Nook Color item w/o a driver.
Thanx,

Once I complete the process, can I plug the card into another Nook or would I have to go through the gapps install again?
This process in no way modifies the NC right? What I mean is, if I took out the micro sd card out of it, it would just boot back into plain vanilla NookColor 1.0.1? Sorry if this question has been answered, just haven't found it anywhere.
Do I need to format the sd card before using the win32 Disk Imager to write the new image?
OK I seem to be the only one with this issue on a mac. I can't get this command to work to write to the sd card.
dd if=NameOfNookieFroYoImage of=/dev/disk# bs=1m
I just reads no such file or directory. Please help me.
