How to not accidently delete emails

I want to know how to not accidently delete emails from Gmail as I constantly delete emails to keep my inbox tidy. My fear is I'll delete important emails to do with college. Anything?

Just create a folder and place your important emails in it.

No problem, you can recover deleted emails.
1.Click on (3horizontal lines) on left.
2.select Trash
3. select email you want to recover
4. click on 3 dots on right - select "move to inbox"
have to be connected to internet (wifi or moble), trash is not stored on phone but Googles servers.
