I have Huawei y7 prime 2018 and it is too slow now. At the start, it was giving a better performance but now after 6 months, it becomes too slow. if anyone knows the reason or have any solution please guide me.

Try a Cache Partition wipe. Tell us what effect that has.

For your information: The thread in which you showed an interest in a certain data recovery software package has been closed, so you will be unable to answer the question I asked you there. If you saw it, by all means answer it here.

Here's how to wipe the cache: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/huawei/huawei-y7/wipe-cache/.

Do not try any app that claims to "optimize", "clean", "speed up", or "boost" your phone. Those apps are all a load of bull cookies, and you risk getting adware (or possibly malware), as well as probably sending all of your data to servers in China and other countries where data privacy is not even a minor concern.

You forgot the most important part! Those apps all run counter to how Android is designed and supposed to work, eating away at your battery as they constantly fight with the OS. So even in the best case scenario, those apps are junk.

The phone runs a Snapdragon 430, a low end SoC, so don't ask too much of it. And when you're finished using an app, don't use the Home key, that just runs the launcher and leaves the app you were using running in the background. Use the Back key to end the app. If you have a lot of apps fighting for the RAM space, the phone is going to be slow.

iam ar regular android user and i know to this. please if you don,t have any proper answer then please don,t leave a comment
You did not give us enough information in your question for us be able to judge your expertise; nor enough detail about your problem for us to be able to suggest much more than general fixes; nor have you responded to or thanked or acknowledged those members who have tried to help. There is hardly anything more that members could have done. Remember that you asked us for help, and we have offered it, based necessarily on the scanty information which is all that you gave.

Also, any experienced Android user knows that this kind of performance issues many times is related to a failing SD card, lack of free storage or third party apps that are draining resources in the background.

Since you didn't give us any additional details we would assume you have already tried the usual troubleshooting for these situations (unmount SD if you have any, run safe mode, free some internal storage, delete apps that run in the background and finally factory reset to have a clean start again).

These are proper answers. There is no magic bullet to make a cheap phone work like it's a flagship.

Perhaps if you didn't wait 2 months to respond in the thread you created so that we could have a more active discussion, you wouldn't have gotten so many answers that you deemed improper.

i don't have more information because i can't understand the reason behind this i have restore my cell phone after this it was performing better but after a week or two same issue has arrise

dear I have completely restored my cell phone i think 8gb free space was enough for better performance and there was no harmfull or un-necessary app in my cell phone. I don't know the reason thats why I ask the question here because i was hoping that maybe someone has already faced such issue and he can guide me properly

Have you already done the usual things, like testing it in Safe Mode? That's the first thing I'd do. If the performance improves in Safe Mode, then some app you installed is causing things to bog down. An app doesn't have to be overtly harmful or unnecessary to cause issues.

Storage space doesn't always translate into performance. It's what's on that storage making use of limited processor and RAM. Your phone is limited by today's standards when it comes to processing power, but apps continually update and require more resources over time. So even if you don't have a lot of apps, those apps you do have will start taxing your system more with every update. In this case, I think your only long term solution would be to get a different phone.

I prefer flagships because they have a lot more processing power, which means more longevity. Even a used flagship from 2017, or even 2016 (my LG V20 has better specs and can be had for cheap on the used market), would be better than what you have now.

did you mean 4gb ram and 64rom is not enough?
That's what my phone has, with the Snapdragon 820. I'm now starting to see some performance issues if I really load up on multi-tasking, but I'm a heavy user.

Your phone has 3 GB of slower LDDR3 (vs the 820's LDDR4) memory, which is about the bare minimum by today's standards, and the Snapdragon 430 is a fair bit slower than the 820.

The storage amount is not really a factor when it comes to performance, unless you're filling them up with apps that have a lot of background processes. In real world use, I don't think your notice a difference.

I don't try it in safe mode i will check and one more thing if it performs better in safe mode then how can i detect such harmful applications?

Unfortunately, unless you have some suspicion of a specific app to begin with, there's no easy way to tell. If a problem goes away in Safe Mode, then sometimes you just have to start uninstalling apps one by one until the problem stays away.
