How to pair picture with text?

I can go through the attach with the paper clip like my earlier note,but I only get the send option and the text doesn't go with the pic. What am I missing?

Don't think you are doing anything wrong. I have same issue with stock "message" app (Note 5). "Messenger" app works Ok. Think it's a software bug, since "attach" verbage appears but only "send" is active. Can't believe Samsung would eliminate attaching photos to text messages!!

If you hit paperclip with no recipient, you can attach to text. Then add recipient.
Still think (hope) it's software bug!
