How to Prevent an App from deleting a file ?

Hello Droid expert,

I am wondering if it is possible to prevent Adobe reader to delete a file ? I have important file in one folder and i want to be sure
my kids wont erase them

I was thinking of changing the folder permission but i don't know how to do that with my Samsung TAB S2 5.1.1

Unfortunately , unless i didn't use folder lock properly, it didn't worked like i was hoping,

I was looking to be able to use the PDF files with Adobe acrobat reader but unable to delete them with Adobe ( in Adobe, when you keep your finger on the file name a menu appears with a garbage can and clicking it delete the PDF), i tried putting the PDF file in RO mode but Adobe reader can still delete it , my only guess is that the folder permission is the problem ? men this is troublesome for me ...

Can you put a lock on Adobe, and install some basic PDF reader instead that doesn't allow deleting files? The only issue here is that I'm not sure if the latter exists, but you can test out the various apps available on Google Play.
