Hello.

Every time I unlock my Moto G, it takes me to a Google Search screen with previous Google searches. How do I stop this happening and just go straight to the normal home screen? It's driving me mad, having to press the Home button every time. I've looked in Settings > Accounts > Google and switched Google Now to Off, but that didn't seem to make any difference.

Thanks!

I know swiping up from the home button, even in the lockscreen will take you straight to Google Now. Maybe the device is reading you touching the home button as opposed to the lock button?

Yes, that's it - I was swiping up from the bottom. Force of habit from using a BB10 device. I feel foolish, but mighty relieved.

Thank you.

No sweat. Sometimes sensitivity is high on some phones. I swear there are times I don't hit a button but the M8 reacts like I did. Especially the camera shutter.
Glad its sorted out. See you around the forums.

I have this issue and I'm not sure what to do about it. I've seen something about deleting a Google update but I'm not sure how to go about that. I've looked around in the settings and don't really see anything.
