How to prevent OTA Update when already downloaded?

Hey guys, my rooted phone downloaded the OTA update while I wasn't aware. Now, it just keeps trying to update again and again, without even asking for permission. Each time it does, it shuts off my phone and puts it into the update screen, which then fails to update, which I think happens because I have ClockworkMod installed. How do I prevent this from happening? Each time I try to turn on my phone, it shuts off and tries to update after around 15 seconds. This doesn't leave me enough time to freeze the 'updater' thing in Titanium Backup. Also, I don't have the donator version of it, so I wouldn't be able to freeze it anyways. Please help :/

You need to clear your cache (do this from the recovery menu before the phone boots up). This happened to a bunch of us a while back...

This is a temporary fix. The update will try to download and install again. The only true fix is flashing a customer ROM.
