How to put the Hero on silent?

I cannot figure this out at all and I feel dumb for it. I have my hero on silent by turning the ringer volume all the way down, but the phone still vibrates if I get a call. How can get it to ring "silently"?

The notch right above vibrate is silent.

Also, if you hold down the red power button you can opt to set the thing on silent mode or vibrate mode that way.
