Hold volume down 5 seconds after red M is displayed. Android Recovery should be displayed in top left. Navigate to wipe data / factory reset. Reboot. Volume down to navigate and power button or volume up to make selection.

But I've done this procedure and yet still have the screen locked. In some forums talk about using the OTG cable to boot via USB Pen Drive.

And I'm unsure about this process, if I just put. IMGs into USB and run the boot.
