How to remove 51happlay from android phone?

[Android Central Question]

51happlay redirects to a website or pops-up each time I open Chrome. I've cleared History, Cookies, Junk files, and searched Apps for 51happlay on my phone with no luck. Anti-virus and Malwarebytes does not see it as a virus or a problem when scanned. If anyone has an answer for this please let me know.

If no go, tell us more, such as whether you have Chrome on other devices, and whether it happens on WiFi, mobile data, or both.

Or install Firefox and stop using Chrome.

Welcome to Android Central! Did you clear all browsing data in Chrome's settings "from the beginning of time"? Do the same on your desktop Chrome browser, in case it's syncing there. Also, clear the Chrome app cache/data in Settings>Apps​, if you haven't already.
