How to remove and insert the microSD card

OK. So they made things a little tricky here. Here's what you need to know:

• The microSD card is underneath the SIM card.
• It's spring-loaded.
• And it inserts upside down. Make sure the gold contacts are facing up, NOT DOWN.
• When you forget these tips, just look at the picture.

Does the micro card need to be formated first? Also I downloaded apps and those that went on the 8gb sd micro card all was fine until I took out the 8 gb and put it back in. All icons were white/grey and did not work that were stored on the micro card. Also can you only save 250 numbers to any and all sd micro cards?
