Hello,

My son played with my phone and added a daily google reminder which has totally ruined the google calendar I've been keeping. This reminder was created to repeat daily "forever." X_X

Is there a way for me to delete the daily reminder he created? I could manually mark them all as "done" but they still remain on my calendar. I could also disable reminders from showing up on my Google Calendar entirely, but I actually use the feature a great deal.

Please help me revert this.

Go to Play Store. Click on three stripes in upper left hand corner of screen. In the drop-down menu click on "My apps." Select Google. Uninstall. Reinstall. The reminders should now be gone.

I've tried Uninstall/ reinstall the reminders keep coming back. I've also cleared cache, force stop. The reminders keep reappearing

I know it's been a few months, but I had a similar problem caused by creating a reminder in Google Keep, then deleting it from Keep without marking it done. The forever part stayed in my calendar. The entry had a 'Open in Keep' link in it that went nowhere.

I resolved it by opening the current day's reminder on my Android device, editing the recurrence to 'does not repeat', then saving. The future reminders should then be gone. Then I was able to delete the remaining one reminder.

Good luck.

I'm having a similar problem with my calendar reminders. I changed the time of a daily reminder from 3:30 to 5:00 PM, but I still get a notification every day at both 3:30 and 5:00. When I try to click on the notification for the 3:30 reminder, I get a message saying "Event does not exist," and only the 5:00 one shows up in the calendar app.

I deleted the 5:00 reminder entirely and I still continue to get the phantom notification. How can I delete this if I can't access it?
