Hi,
Hi,
I was able to use an app "Root Uninstall" (???) to uninstall some apps that came with my Tablet (see sig).
However, now, when I goo into the Market to check for updates to apps that are on my Tablet, they show up as apps that have updates waiting. The GMail app that comes with every Android Phone/Tablet is one perfect example.
The apps are uninstalled. They no longer appear as installed apps. This is just what often happens, when you uninstall apps that came with the device and don't use an app designed for uninstalling apps that came with the system and "system apps". The uninstall app I used is a nice one and it's free and it has worked well with apps that came with the system and with "system apps" and usually prevents this from happening. But for some reason, these three are doing it anyway. Of course they are. <lol>
Is there any way to remove these from the system's update check? If I decide to turn "Auto-Update" on, then they're going to end up being reinstalled. And even if I don't turn that feature on, it's a pain to see that "3 Updates are Available" Notification every time I fire up my Tablet and so of course, I'd like to get rid of the notification, which will only happen by getting them out of that "check for updates" task somehow.
Help? Somebody? Please?
Thanks,
