How to remove Yahoo emails from Gmail account?

I have a Yahoo email address and a Gmail email address.

Only some weeks ago I stupidly added my Yahoo email account to the Gmail app. There's no differentiation in the Gmail inbox as to which account an email arrived to.

Regardless, I virtually never look at my Gmail emails, it's mostly unwanted or unneeded but official retail mail etc
Yahoo was my original email address and I still depend on it, along with my Outlook address (don't judge!)

I always used the Yahoo app and Gmail app separately and they still work fine - so not a big life - altering problem, but there is no way to remove (or separate) my Yahoo emails in Gmail, whether on the Android app or via Chrome on my Windows 10 pc. Deliberately so, I'm sure.

Any ideas? My Gmail inbox is messed up as I say, and there's no telling which address an email was sent to.

You can add an account to Gmail, but there's no way to remove one.

TIA

According to google Sounds like you Gmailify'ed your yahoo email. open the Gmail app, go to Settings, tap on the Gmail account you want to unlink, and then tap Unlink account in the "Linked Account"section

@rvbfan Thanks.
I hadn't seen that suggestion.
That sounds fair to go to the Gmail Settings instead and unlink Yahoo, but it doesn't seem to be linked so I'll try some more tomorrow. 👍
