My quest to make the Note 8 livable, despite the mountains of bloatware Samsung is heaping on me despite having bought an "unlocked" device continues...
Next issue: I need to be able to review images but swiping left on the camera main screen, bit need to review them in Google Photos where my library lives. This has the main advantage that I can immediately edit the photo alone swipe after taking it, and just as importantly, that I can send it via email or message or facebook, etc. I can not believe this isn't possible with the Samsung default app!
I tried using Google's own Camera app (which of course plays nicely with Photos) but Samsung managed to several years cripple it, e.g. 4k isn't an option. Also, of course Samsung won't allow to link an app they are not trying to force on me to the quick launch double press on the on/off button!
What other options do I have short of returning this phone, which right now is useless as a device to document my day.
I could live with the Samsung Camera app if it would allow me to have a Google Photos review option and if I could remove the ridiculous "Bixby Vision" thing that pokes into my eye every time I try to take a photo.
