How to save contacts to sim on a Samsung 6

Welcome to Android Central! Most phones these days don't save contacts to the SIM card. You might be able to export the contact to the SIM card (which is a way of transferring a contact from one phone to another via the SIM). Open the Contacts app, tap Menu, and look for an Import/Export option.

a workaround would be to create a new contact and choose the sim card as destination
