For some reason - new Oneplus 5 didn't have a keyboard. Tried to SAY an email addy and got stuck at the @ sign. Just for grins, tried saying ampersand, and it didn't get that either. Didn't believe Google could be that dumb. I wasn't able to log into Play.

I finally did a reset, and then got the keyboard. Promptly got Super and Smart Keyboards from Play (Both paid versions) and disabled Google's keyboard.

It depends on the language, but on English, Google's dictation service does recognize punctuation. I haven't had issues with it. When I use Spanish, however, punctuation doesn't work.

Clears throat: tries dictation, using words to describe the punctuation marks, and finds that there is no problem. Has to admit, however, that is using iPhone.
