I am able to send group BCC Emails to my groups from my computer but I've been unable to send BCC Emails to Groups from my Android.
It will allow me to send Group Emails, but it does not give me the option to send it BCC. If I use any of the Mail apps, it will not pull up a group if I try to add it in the BCC field.

This problem was posted March 9th 2011 but the solution suggested, viz: ""Go to> Contacts> Groups. On the bottom of the screen there is an icon with arrows. Click on that and choose to send an email to the group using Gmail. Once in Gmail, press Menu to add CC/BCC. Long press on> To: box> Copy> Long press on BCC: box> Paste. Delete the addresses from the To: box after or paste them into the BCC: box for a new message."" does not work as there's no "icon with arrows" to select.

Ideas? Thanks all, Fraser.

Welcome to Android Central! The Gmail Android app has always been less fully functional than the Gmail desktop website, and the ability to send emails to groups is one of those things that has always been clunkier. In the app, you can move recipients from the To field to the BCC field if you drag and drop them, but this has to be done one at a time, which is clearly very tedious.

From my testing just now, the only way I was able to achieve what you want is to use the mail.google.com website in Chrome, and make sure you turn on the Desktop Site checkbox in the Chrome menu for that site. This should bring up what is essentially the full Gmail desktop website on your browser. You can then type the name of your Google Contacts label in the BCC field, and they'll show up there. Not very convenient, I would agree, but at least it can be done.

If this is important to you, send feedback to Google about it from the Gmail app's settings.
