How to set custom wallpaper on V10?

Gone to Settings>Home screen>Wallpaper>Gallery Then I choose the picture. A popup asks if I want to use "Crop pcture" or "Photos". I have tried both. But after I choose the photo and then "Save", I get a message "Unable to save changes". I can set the wallpaper by choosing one from the wallpaer gallery, so I could try copying the photo I want into the wallpaper gallery, but I can't find that location.

On edit: Got it by not using the Wallpaper item in the settings menu. Instead I just went to my gallery and opened the photo and then chose the "Set Image As" item from the individual photo's menu and choose "Wallpaper" from there.
