How to set up a home-screen as default in T-mobile Tab?

Initially I have deleted 4 home-screens in my Tab (using only one). Later I added two more home-screens (totaling to 3), but the default one (i.e. the one I get by pressing the Home button) is now the rightmost one. Is there any way to make the center home-screen the default one? When I played with Verizon Tab, I saw the option of setting a home-screen as default, but I can't find that in my tab.

(I know it can be done easily in LauncherPro or ADW, but I like the stock launcher and don't want to use another launcher.)

IIRC - you pinch any home screen to display them all on one screen, then press and hold the one you want.

No, doesn't work. Now I strongly believe this feature is not available in T-Mobile tab. I compared the user guides of Verizon and T-Mo tab -- only Verizon guide mentions the feature.

I didn't see that in the Verizon manual. I learned about it on a forum.

I find it surprising that the manuals are different among brands. It would be like Windows Vista is different on Dell vs. HP computers.
