How to share books on my tab with another Samsung tablet ( Tab E)

I want to give some of the books on my tablet to my son who has bought a Tab E. We can't figure out how to do this, since the Books folder does not show on Smart Switch. I sent him the book (in Kindle format) by email, and he got about 7 files, but where should he put them, and how does he get them into the Kindle app?
I tried doing it through USB from my PC, and the book showed up in the PC Explorer folder, but not in the tablet.

What app are you using the books on? Did you get them from Kindle?

AFAIK, Books from Amazon are not viewable on any other device unless that device also has the Amazon account on which the book was bought. You can loan your kid the ebook though.
