i have a group of apps in a folder that are usually opened together. is there a 1 click method to open them all up, vs individually ?

There is split screen but I don't think that's what you're after.

Welcome to AC!
I think some 3rd party launcher do this , which device you have?

Welcome to Android Central! You are talking about an Android phone, and not a Chromebook, right?

correct, samsung s22.
just to clarify, when i stated opened together, i meant sequentially, one by one manually.

i would like a "open all tabs" single click found in firefox that can open multiple websites,
though in this case it is APPS grouped in a folder.

The way Android works, though, opening multiple apps will not keep them all in the foreground at the same time. Only one foreground app will remain open at a time, while the others will be paused in the background (unless they have some active background service like playing music). I suppose it would make it a little bit quicker to switch between apps, but the gains in speed would probably be minor. In addition, the way Samsung's firmware is, it may be difficult to tell if and when the system will completely kill a paused app from RAM (since Samsung is known for aggressive RAM management).
