How to Slow Charge with Uconnect

When using my phone with Uconnect, it fast charges my phone to 100% quickly. This is fine during normal trips, but during long trips I don't want my phone set at fast charging for many hours. Creates battery heat and decreases phone battery life.

My Pixel 6 does not fast charging OFF setting. I am thinking maybe a cable that does not allow fast charging?

Do you use Android Auto on long trips?

If not, simply disconnect your Pixel 6 from the USB port (or battery charger) and have your phone connect to Uconnect via Bluetooth.
