You mean accounts syncing like through a single Google account?

Works for me, maybe explain what sort of syncing you look for? I have an S4 as well and it seems to work well (maybe coincidence)

Popular cloud services for Android are Google Drive, Dropbox, Box... For syncronizing notes, Evernote is popular. GMail contacts are already sync'ed...

I use the Google play store to sync my apps and my data goes onto my SDcard and I use Samsung Link to also back up my data to a cloud plus I use drop box to put other important files. Overkill? Maybe, it works great for me.
