how to solve OTG problem in Nexus 5x?

when connect otg to connector, Notification with Contain "USB supplying power to attached device" appear, and when choose "Transfer files" not any action happen.
I try to ways, but not any action happen.

Open the Nexus 5 OTG feature requires:

- Nexus 5 a mobile phone, root or no root can be
- OTG data cable
- external device or memory (SD card, U disk, etc.)
- Nexus USB OTG File Manager application

Steps:

1, download and install the above application (free version)
2, with OTG data cable, the external device and Nexus 5 connection
3, open and run the application just installed
