How to sort my menu

I have tons of apps installed & my menu lists them alphabetically.
For easy access I had made folders on desktop to sort them.
Is there a way I can make folders on the menu screen itself, for eg:- listings apps under GAMES, VIDEO, EMAIL & IM, etc...

I also understand there are things called lauchers for customizations, if that is the only option to solve my problem, then which launcher should I install?

Welcome to Android Central! With basic "vanilla" Android (like what you get in Nexus devices), you can't organize the apps in the App Drawer--that functionality is more for the homescreens. You are correct, there are 3rd party launchers where you can do this, although what you're asking for typically requires the paid version of the app. Nova Launcher Prime is the one I'm familiar with--it's quite good.

I vote for adw launcher every time, simply the best with the lightest footprint
