How To Stop Google Search From Talking Back To Me?

When I go to chrome, I hit the mic button, and say "Time in New york", it searches it, but also says it out loud to me. I dont want it to do that. How do I stop my voice searches from talking back to me the answers, I just want to search it not hear it out loud.

I have a galaxy s5.

I know its NOT the Now Cards thing, I tried checking that.

Go to Settings > Application Manager > Swipe the v screen to the right, over to "All" apps (rather than "Downloaded Apps) > [the last step is shown in the attracted picture (I love the S Pen)

Sorry, bad auto fill. Just the regular Google Now settings.

so hit the blue google icon app? It just brings up an input box. Not sure what you are referring to?

Doesn't work. The only options for the Speech Output settings are Hands-free only or On. Why the heck is there no Off option?
