How to stop music control

I have been trying to disable music notifications when using Spotify on my phone as it kills the battery life. I have tried blocking Spotify but it still sends the details to my watch.

Any ideas?

After stoping notifications for Spotify, after a while they just seemed to stop out of the blue. Not sure what triggered it, maybe stopping the app and then syncing wear apps worked. I'm not sure

And now theyre back today. So frustrating
