How to stop my phone from asking to update

I have the LG G2 Verizon and am wondering if I can stop it from asking me over and over to update to Lollipop as I don't want to? Thanks for the help

Same question here, not only my phone, all the apps ask me to update everyday.

Two issues... First, the system update... The only methods to stop the update check require root access. There are a few threads in the G2 forums here.

As for the app updates, they may happen often, but you should try to keep your apps up to date. You can probably turn off the checks in the Play Store app settings.

You are happy if you have os updates. I have not seen any OS updates on my phone since last year however it is compatible with android 5
