How to stop video playuing in Google Reader?

When watching a video in google reader, I accidentally pressed the button to go to the next post, but the video I was watching continued to play. thinking i could just go back to the original post to stop it, I found, that the video was not playing in that post, but was somehow running in the background somewhere? Is there any way to stop the video? I ended up restarting the phone.
