How to synchronise selected accounts?

Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum.

A little intro: I've been using Blackberry for years. A year ago, I got in touch with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 in order to give Android a try. I liked it. Used it. A lot. So finally decided to switch after verifying my frequently used apps, data migration and choosing a device. Ended up with a Lg G3 (D855AR), ownCloud ("hate" Google) on my notebook, DAVDroid, WebDAV Collaborator (office's Outlook) and a couple of other apps.

I have several accounts including a Google account just for app store so I disabled auto sync. But I'm tired of synchronising each account when I need it (don't mind about notifications, by now) so I was wondering if there's a way to do a selected sync: check those accounts you want to sync.

Note: got rooted device.

Regards.

Go into settings and tap accounts and sync the select your account and un-check all the boxes or just the ones you want to sync. This works for Android 2.3. It also works in 4.4.

Settings/General/Accounts. Each account should have a list of things you can synchronize or turn off.

When I enter the account I don't want to sync, I can't (un)check; I can only tap the service I want to sync.

Solved. For those interested, you need to have autosync enabled, then you can (un)check individual service/app to sync within each account.

Tip: to keep Google account to sync while configuration, I disabled radios with airplane mode, configured each account, then enabled radios again.

Corrected: Thanks so much for this tip, it was driving me batty trying to figure out to do it!
