How to take a screenshot?

I had read before in a thread here that thereis a key combination that will let you take screenshots of your epic.

Does anyone know what is that sequence?

Not anymore there isn't.... We had the key combination that worked on the leaked Froyo DK28 but they removed it in the official build Froyo EB13/EC05.

It was hold your Back Key (capacitive button or key on physical keyboard) and press Home.

But in typical Sammy fashion, they removed it.. LOL.

Plenty of apps on the Market for rooted/non rooted devices to take the place of it.

Rooted I use ScreenShot by GIK Soft.

Are there any good screenshot apps that allow you to simply press a button to grab the screenshot?

What's up with the apps that force you to "shake" the phone to grab a screenshot without giving the option to press a button instead?

I had an app that took screen shots with a timer or a shake. But now that I have Froyo it no longer works. I prefer Eclair over Froyo in every way. I lost functions I used daily for a couple of functions I never use.

ShootMe works great. I think you need to be rooted.
