Hi could someone tell me how to take off the hundred and 160 word limit on text so I can send a longer text as I can't find anywhere many thanks

It's a 160 character limit per message, but just keep typing and the system will break it into multiple messages when it is sent. The person receiving the text will see multiple mesages.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using AC Forums mobile app

Install 'Go SMS Pro'

It will interrogate the recipient's phone to see if their end will handle longer messages. If so, it is sent as one message. If not, it breaks it up also.

I get both. Big long ones, and split messages.

As AZ said you would have to use a 3rd party app. Otherwise the carrier is going to break it up.

Sent from my T-Mobile Note 3 using AC Forums.

3rd party wont help because I tried it before its globa, carrie limit not the smartphone

Switch message type to MMS...no character length requirement!
