How to take off boot sound?

So I installed this darth vader boot animatiobin and I don't want the sound on it but I have no clue how to take it off

cyanogenmod settings>disable bootsounds...

or rootbrowser>system>media>delete android_audio.mp3...

Yea I'm a noob at this so can yiu translate that into stupid people terms

Press your menu key, select Settings

Next select CyanogenMod settings

Next select Sound settings

Next, uncheck Play boot sound


Of course you can always put a short mp3 of your choosing in. Rename it android_audio.mp3 and place it in /system/media on your phone using a root capable file manager.
