I've got DL Booster activated but the icon across the top is grayed out. The wireless is the only thing lighting up. Is there a way to check on the performance of this feature? Is it really only beneficial for downloading large files as opposed to normal web surfing?

It only works for downloads over 30mb. It should bring up a dialogue box when it get initialized.

Thanks. I get the dialogue pop-up when I turn it on, but I've never seen it actually doing anything. Aside from streaming some YouTube videos I haven't tried downloading a large file yet.

I thought I saw a pic from another poster on AC showing a screen shot of DL Booster analyzing how much of a particular download is being done by 4G LTE and how much was being done by wireless. Maybe that kicks in when you're actually downloading a large file.

Will 2 Note 4's connect now on Verizon using the new VoLTE method? If the fidelity is as nice as I hope for, I can't wait to get that feature. I'm so tired of having to ask people to spell or repeat words that aren't clear enough during a cell call.

As an update, I just downloaded the Amplitude app, which was about 54mb, and a new dialogue box showed up and indicated that DL Booster will assist in speeding up the download. I clicked OK and the icon across the top of the phone lit up. I was then able to view info about what the wireless vs. 4G LTE was doing during the download.

Cool feature and seemed to greatly increase the speed of the download.
