How to tell if phone was hacked?

Some really weird stuff is happening with my P20.... The screen is filling with "screen lock" icons, the little on-screen navigation icon appeared by itself, and the phone made some calls when it was sitting on my table untouched. What can I do to know if it was hacked? Should I just try resetting the phone somehow?

i would just wipe your phone just to be safe.
