The way that the internet/wifi works at my apartment is I only get one prepaid code that I can only use on one device which I have used on my laptop. I can connect to the wifi, but it sends me to a log in page to put in a code for my Nexus before I can connect to the internet.

What I managed to do was set up an ad hoc wifi with my laptop and my friend can connect to it with his laptop, but my nexus won't detect it. Then they said to get BlueVPN and connect it with bluetooth, but even with BlueVPN, I can't detect my nexus on my laptop. I was able to detect my neighbor's Nokia phone, but my laptop still can't detect my Nexus.

Any suggestions to be able to get access to the internet through my tablet?
