How to transfer my stuff from iPhone 6s plus to Note 7?

Just got my Note 7, and trying to figure out how to transfer everything to my Note including my text messages. Can anyone tell me what is the easiest way to do that is?

Yeah Smart Transfer is what wants to take 6 hours...

What? No way! I haven't transferred from an iPhone, but I don't see how it would be drastically different. I've used it to go from a Note 5 to an S7 Edge and from an S7 Edge to a Note 7 and from a Note 7 to another S7 Edge and from that one to the replacement Note 7. Every time it takes about 30 to 40 minutes to transfer my pictures, music, notes, documents, texts, AND apps (media alone is a few Gigabytes), then about 30 more minutes for apps to finish installing (this last portion doesn't require your old phone to be connected anymore). But if you don't do app installation (which I'm certain is not even an option when moving from an iPhone), this shouldn't take more than an hour, tops! And I've even tried going wireless on the last transfer since the store rep wasn't allowed to let you plug anything into the recalled Note 7.

I transferred from the iPhone 6 plus. AT&T did the transfer using Smartswitch and the iPhone lightning cable with the Samsung USB-C adapter connected to the Note 7. Took about 25 minutes.

Yep, just got done with mine using the cable. It took about 30-45 minutes. Yay!

Yup, did he exact same thing with my 6s plus to my note 7, took 20 minutes with the adapter and smart switch. Text messages, call logs, notes, pics and even a list of the android version of the apps I had on the iPhone
