How to turn off animation on text on ICS?

Hi guys, I googled how to turn off the animation when you send a text, i tried googling it but no luck (prolly using the wrong key words) anyways does anyone know how? Im curious since this will probably help me lower the battery consumption.

Your question confuses me. What animation when sending texts? Are you using the stock messaging app or something else?

Do you mean the animation that makes the text you type sort of float up in a little bubble?

yes. and yes its a stock ICS. when i had the GB i turned the animation to make the 'float up' animation.
