How to turn off auto correct?

How do I turn off auto correct ?

On the Samsung Keyboard? If so, then long-press the button to the left of the comma/spacebar buttons and tap the cog icon (or if that's already there, then just tap). Then you can either disable Predictive Text altogether, or keep that active and just tap on it to turn off Auto Replace for the language you use.

Was with the text program. When you type a word, in the suggestions of words, on the far right is an aero. Push it and you can turn off auto correct.
