It has been 2 months since I've had my car equipped with Android Auto, and message boards and googling, and contacting Android and WhatsApp have proven futile. Someone please tell me there is a way to turn off access to whatsApp entirely within Android Auto. I already have the notifications settings turned off within the WhatsApp platform, however Android Auto bypasses that, and plays a notification for every message. Group Messages are incredibly annoying as it lowers my music and plays an audio notification for every message, which can be 20 messages in a minute span.
