How to turn on and use 4G hotspot?

So I was able to use wifi hotspot in 3g mode but I tried getting 4G to work and its not working for some reason.

I turned on my 4G waited until it obtained a connection, then I enabled wifi hotspot and when it was enabled my 4G connection disconnected. Am I missing something?
