how to tweak to increase cache?

I am watching video streaming on the MotoTriumph. Every 2 min, it will become stuttering so much and becomes unwatchable. Only if I pause it for 30 sec, then it will get smooth for another 2 min. Sounds to me it is cache problem, or maybe bandwidth? So, how can I tweak to increase cache? My MotoTriumph is rooted.
