How to un-stretch silicone?

I've had the Ionic GUARDIAN case since for about 6 months now, and it's served me well. The silicone at the top and the bottom of the case is now a bit stretched out.

Does anyone know how to un-stretch it?

Could try a gentle warming with a hair dryer.
